Mock Meet 2024

A Mock Meet is a practice Swim Meet. Please note warm up time is 5:30 p.m. All swimmers and volunteers should be checked in BY 5:30 p.m. There will be a short TIMER MEETING at 5:45. All Timers, Timer Recorders, Place Judges, Judges Recorders should be in attendance. This is not a full meet. We will swim enough races for everyone to understand how a swim meet works, let the swimmers practice hearing the start sound, start and swim the race. Please make every effort to come to the mock meet. It is SO HELPFUL for us to have a calm run-through before the real thing. Swim meets move fast, and can be chaotic. The mock meet will help us all know where to go and what to do. Team dinner to follow. Please bring dinner for your family. The team will provide an ice cream sundae bar for dessert. |

2023 ASA Championship - Session 3 Copy

Start: 9:30 AM
The ASA Championship will take place on THURSDAY, June 29, 2023. Our team swims in the 9:30 a.m. session. Entry fee per athlete is $45, please pay the fee here. We will plan on arriving at the Gwinnett Tech pool at 8:00 a.m. as warm ups start 90 minutes prior to the session. This gives us plenty of time to navigate traffic, park and get to the building, find our place in the stands, and finally send our swimmers down to warm up. The Gwinnett Tech pool is located at: 750 Ferst Drive, Atlanta GA To sign your swimmer up: * Please pay the fee per swimmer * Please declare their availability as you would for a regular meet and choose two individual strokes for your swimmer to compete in. Your swimmer is welcome to strategize with their coaches to determine the best events for them to compete in. * If enough kids in their age group are competing, we will have them compete in the Free and Medley relays as well. * Spectators are welcome to sit in the stands in designated areas. The event is free to spectators. * You can make signs to display and cheer on your athlete! * We will be asked to sign up for a few volunteer jobs at the event. If you are available to help out, please let us know. |

End of 2023 Season Celebration

Please bring the family and join us for our 2023 End of Season *BRUNCH* Celebration! Please sign up for our Potluck BRUNCH by signing up for a “Job”; in this instance a “job” is signing up to bring a pot luck item! Don’t forget to ALSO RSVP who from your family will be attending—siblings welcome, this is a family event! An RSVP for this event, is done in the same way you declare attendance to a meet. There will be bags for each Coach/Jr Coach; please have your swimmer make a card to give the coaches. They also love getting little gifts of appreciation. :) 10:15 am - Brunch 11:00 am - Awards & Recognition's 11:30 am (or after awards are done) - Games/Play 12:30 pm - Lifeguards/Coaches off duty; parents required to either pick up kids or stay with them. |
