Wahoo Families:

Just a couple of details for the last two away swim meets. Please give yourself plenty of time to get to travel. Away meets have unknown variables with travel time/traffic and unfamiliar parking situations and orienting to a new pool.

Because our team bull pen will be stationed on the basketball court at Deerlake, your swimmer(s) may need camp chairs. The court may be too hot to sit on. Also bring an extra towel. Towels on the ground get soaked and swimmers will not have anything to dry off with. This will cover both options. 

Notes from our Deerlake host for this week's meet:

Location Our pool is located at 5290 Deerlake Drive, Alpharetta, GA 30005. Map may try to lead you through a entrance on McGinnis Ferry but this entrance is gated. Everyone should come through the entrance on 141. 

Parking There is parking at our pool/tennis court and there will be street parking also. Please pay attention to the no parking signs on certain sides of the road. 

Bull pens Grandview can set up their bull pens on the basketball court. Please ask your swimmers not to hang or play with the hoops. They have been broken in the past by another swim team. Also ask your swimmers not to play on the playground or dock at the lake. 

Concessions Will include burgers, hot dogs, pizza, chips, ice cream, candy and drinks for sale as well. We take cash, or venmo. King Of Pops will be at the meet also. 

Theme Blue Out. 

Warm-Up Each team will get 20 minutes to warm up. Grandview Glen 5-5:20pm.  Meet will begin at 5:30pm 

Timing System Stop watches. Nothing fancy

Last swim meet will come fast on next Tuesday, June 25th - Declare your swimmer(s) for this meet by this FRIDAY, June 21st. Details to come from the host team.
